Who we are
ScopeTrackr is a product of Carlos Brotas, trading as Rovugui Studio, R. Hermano Neves 18, 1600-477 Lisboa, Portugal. "We" means Rovugui Studio. We decide how your data is used. Contact: hello@scopetrackr.com.
What we collect
When you request a pilot spot we store the email, store URL, SKU range and app names you type into the form, the date you sent it, and the reference code from the link you followed, if any.
We count visits with Umami, a cookieless analytics tool that we host ourselves. It records pages viewed, the referring site, browser type and country. It doesn't set cookies or store your IP address.
If you subscribe, Polar handles the payment as merchant of record and sends us your name, email and subscription status. We never see your card details.
What we use it for, and why we're allowed to
To contact you about the pilot, run it, and bill you if you subscribe. The legal basis is taking steps you asked for before a contract, and the contract itself once you subscribe. We don't sell or share your data, and we don't add you to a newsletter.
If we emailed you first
We found your store through a public review you left on the Shopify App Store about stock problems. We wrote once or twice because the product is about that problem, which is our legitimate interest. Reply "no" and we won't email you again, and we delete your contact details.
During a pilot
With your permission we read product, inventory and location data from your Shopify store to log stock changes. We delete that data within 30 days after the pilot ends unless you subscribe.
Who processes it for us
- Hetzner (Germany): the server that runs this site and stores pilot data
- Resend (Ireland region): sends our emails
- Cloudflare: DNS and forwarding of email sent to hello@scopetrackr.com
- Polar: payments, if you subscribe
How long we keep it
Pilot requests that don't become a subscription: 12 months, then deleted. Customer and billing records: as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to hello@scopetrackr.com. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt).
